Tommaso Bussola

The story of Tommaso Bussola arises from the land of Valpolicella Classica, in 1977, when he began working in the small wine estate of his uncle Giuseppe. In the first years of activity, Tommaso followed the footsteps of the traditionalists, respecting the time-honoured practices of barrel aging, barrels which, in those times, were used and re-used many times over the years.

The wines of this style of production carry the logo bg, being the initials of his uncles, Bussola Giuseppe. But in 1983 Tommaso, with his first solo vilification, wanted to a constantly improving the quality of the product.

To this end, he began personally looking after the selection of the grapes destined for the production of Amarone and Recioto.The construction of the new winery, in 1990, coincided with the introduction of new barriques and tonneaux.

The new wines were baptized with the label TB (Tommaso Bussola); In 1995 Tommaso's wife Daniela began working for the estate. In 2007 even the sons, Paolo and Giuseppe, decided to join this reality, bringing new vigor and enthusiasm. The family company own 15 Hectares of vineyard, producing almost 70/80.000 bottles per year.
