Bass Phillip is an iconic winery which commenced operations in 1979 when owner and operator Phillip Jones planted his first grapes.

Bass Phillip is recognised for producing Australia’s best Pinot Noir.

Located in South Gippsland, Victoria, a region known for its mineral rich soil and high rainfall, two critical ingredients for producing fine wine.

Renowned for the quality of its wine, Bass Phillip’s major two wine varieties produced are Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

They were the first Australian table wine that was rated 99/100 by the leading Australian critic, James Halliday, for the 2010 Reserve Pinot Noir.
