BRAND HIGHLIGHT

Francoise Bedel

Champagne Françoise BEDEL & Fils, owner-producer from the Marne Valley, cultivates 8,40 hectares (20,75 acres) of 20-60 year old vines.

The variety of our vineyard's sub-soils permit us to create different bleds from each terroir. These different organic cuvées are the tangible manifestation of stringent practices that bring out and intensify the qualities and distinguishing characteristics of our terroir.

The passion we share for nature and plants, and our desire to transmit healthy and productive land to future generations, have led us to cultivate the entirety of our vineward with Bio-dynamic methods since 1998.

Françoise BEDEL & Fils, owner - harvester, cultivates 9 hectares of vines aged from 30 to 60 years.

The parcels are spread out on either side of the Marne, Crouttes-Sur-Marne, Nanteuil-Sur-Marne, Charly-Sur-Marne, and Villiers-Saint-Denis.

Fernand and Marie-Louise Bedel were the first generation and Françoise Bedel took over part of the estate in 1979. The plots have different subsoils, which allows for blending according to the terroirs and the elaboration of 'terroir' cuvées. The champagnes are the expression of a rigorous method that brings out and enhances the qualities and particularities of the earth, the vines and the fruit.
